Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between insulin change and blood-lipid in hypertension. Methods Forty lone hypertensive,40 hypertension concomitant with metabolic syndrome and 40 healthy persons(control group)were enrolled in this study.Blood pressure was measured.Blood samples were drawn in an empty stomach, and both insulin and lipid were determined between 8am and 9 am.Mutual effects among blood-lipid,insulin and hypertension were analyzed with multi-way ANOVA.Results Lone hypertension group showed that TC was 6.27±1.24 and TG was 2.34±1.25.Hypertensive concomittant with metabolic syndrome group showed thal TC was 6.28±1.36 and TG was 2.69±1.32 respectively.Compare with control group, both groups showed statistical significance(P<0.01).FINS of the three groups were 16.42±5.38,21.47±5.73 and 28.05±7.32 respectivly, showing no significant difference(P>0.05).Multifaetor ANOVA showed no very seriously effects on hypertension if either blood-lipid increase or insulin increased, but side effects occurred if blood.1ipid increase with insulin(P<0.01).Conclusion There is insulin resistance and disturbance of lipid metabolism in hypertensive, and there is also correlation among simplex blood-lipid,insulin change and hypertensive compound with metabolic syndrome.
