Abstract： Objective To explore the curative effect of hyperbaric oxygen(HBO)and non-HBO treatment for cerebral infarction complicated with type 2 diabetes's mellitus(DM).Methods One hundred and-eight patients of cerebral infarction complicated with DM were equally divided into routine group and HBO group.The routine group received diet therapy,improving mierocirculation,activate cerebral cell,awaking medicine,hippocampus neural cells,energy mixture,acupuncture,manipulation,exercise,support treatment and so on.The HBO group,besides the treatment mentioned above,was given HBO treatment.Results there were significant differences of tetraparesis,conscious disturbance,aphasia between the 2 groups(P＜0.01).The overall response rate was87.0% in routine group and 98.1% in HBO group respectively.Conclusion HBO combination therapy is of higher rehabilitation value for cerebral infarction complicated with DM.
