Abstract： Objective To study the selection of surgical expertise applicable to different motion status onboard the hospital ship,the time and success rate of surgical operations.Methods A comprehensive battery for assessing the capability of animal surgical operations onboard the type of 920 hospital ship was established,by using literature search and expert consultation,multi-group cross control and Williams design,and also by using the 6-degree-of-freedom ship motion simulator and the surgical suites of the type of 920 hospital ship as experimental platforms.Results Types of applicable surgical expertise were screened by ascertaining the factors affecting surgical operations onboard the hospital ship in different motion status.Total success rate of surgical operations and time load in different motion status were obtained.Conclusions Objective basis for surgical treatment of patients onboard the ship was provided.
