Abstract： Objective To explore the psychosocial stress factors of social support in submariners.Methods Four hundred and sixty submariners were evaluated by perceived social support scale(PSSS),Cattell's 16 personality factors test(16-PF),life event scale(LES)and symptom checklist 90(SCL-90).All data were analyzed with SPSS 15.0.Results There was significant correlation of submariners'social support with facots of personality,life event and mental health.It Was showed in the multiple correlation regression analysis that stability,depression,suspicion,intelligence,positive social events and sociality were main factors that affected social support of submariners(standardized coefficients were 0.227,-0.175,0.137,0.117,0.108,0.091 in turn).Conclusions Factors of personality,mental health and life event have signficant influences on submariners'social support.
