Abstract: @@ Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation is superior, asopposed to bare-metal stenting, in terms of reduction of target lesion revascularization and improvement in clinical outcomes;~(1,2) the penetration rate of DES reached beyond 90% in routine PCI practice in China, especially with the availability of home-made polymer-based sirolimus- (Firebird, Excel or Partner) and non-polymer-based paclitaxel- (Yinyi) eluting stents.~(3,4)
