Abstract: @@ Hemostasis and thrombosis is a discipline combining various aspects of basic biology and clinical medicine. Hemostatic abnormalities and thrombosis are involved in the pathophysiology of many diseases in clinical medicine. The fundamental and clinical research of the bleeding disorders and thrombotic diseases has been developed very quickly in recent years. More than 100 genes have been found to be related with hemostasis and thrombosis. The genetic diagnosis of bleeding disorders, including hemophilia A, hemophilia B, von Willebrand disease and Glanzmann's thrombasthenia, has been greatly improved in China.1
