Abstract： Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics of coloniclipoma and its therapeutic approach.Method Based on clinical data of five in-patients with colonic lipoma in our hospital from 1989 to 1999 collected admission record,we analyzed and summarized the diagnosis and therapy.Results The main manifestations of colonic lipoma included abdominal pain,abdominal mass,mucous bloody stool and complicated intestinal obstruction.It can be diagnosed by fibro-coloscope,barium enema examination and CT,etc.The treatment mainly dependent on surgery.Conclusion Colonic lipoma has not shown special clinical manifestation,its diagnostic rate is low in pre-operation and the misdiagnosis rate is much high.
