Endoscopic sclerotherapy of gastric varices by tissue adhesives

Abstract： The diagnosis and treatment of gastric varices is a clinically concerned issue.With the development of endoscopic technology. The success rate of controlling bleeding from gastric and esophageal varices has been improved a lot.It is efficacious and safe to treat gastric and esophageal varices by endoscopic injection of tissue adhesives and to prevent re-bleeding.There is few acute and long-term complications of this modality.It has been the first line treatment for gastric varices.
