Abstract： Fast track surgery is a concept that perfectly integrates the latest evidence of perioperative managements including anesthesia, nursing, surgery and so on.The advantage of fast track surgery can be shown only when strict clinical pathway is ensured.This paper aims to analyze the main reasons why fask track surgery is difficult to be popularized in clinical practice.
