Abstract： Semi-quantitative RT-PCR and immunoblotting analyses were used to investigate the expression of CTSK and its role in 3T3-L1 cell differentiation.The expression of CTSK gene was remarkably higher in obese patients than in the control group,and was increased gradually during adipocyte differentiation.CTSK gene is possibly involved in the adipocyte differentiation and the onset of obesity.
