The influence of the insulin treatment on plasma resistin level

Abstract： ELISA was used to examine fasting plasma resistin.Resistin level was significantly increased in type 2 diabetic patients as compared with normal controls(P<0.05).Fasting plasma resistin level was not statistically different(P>0.05)between the patients with and without diabetic microangiopathy.After treatment with insulin,the level of resistin was significantly dropped.
