Abstract: The study of omental adipose tissue of patients with obesity(n=19)and without obesity(n=24)showed that the expression of adiponectin(APN)gene was significantly lower in obesity subjects than in non-obesity subjects and the expression of TNF-α gene was significantly higher in obesity than in non-obesity.There was negative correlation between the expressions of APN and TNF-α gene in obesity subjects.The obesity and insulin resistance were the independent influencing factors for the expressions of APN and TNF-α gene.
