Abstract： The prevalence of MS is 16.3% by IDF definition-2005 in partial enterproses population in Nanning city, Guangxi province. The principal prevention and therapy of MS should point at hyperglycemia, hypertriglyceridemia, obesity or abdominal obesity and hypertension, particularly in population aged 40-70 years.
