Fasting and OGTT 2 h serum free fatty acids levels in subjects with different glucose tolerance and the influential factors

Abstract： The study of DM (n=32), IGT(n=35), NGT plus normal BMI (n=45), NGT plus BMI≥23 (n=42) showed that the high fasting FFA levels were in the order of DM>IGT>NGT plus obesity>NGT without obesity, and that OGTT 2 h FFA level was elevated only in IGT and DM group, but not in NGT with or without abnormal BMI.
