Association of PAI-1 levels and its promoter 4G/5G genotype with correlated factors in T2DM

Abstract： 156 inpatient with type 2 diabetes and 60 normal control were analyzed,the 4G/5G polymorphism in the PAI-1 gene promoter region were genotyped. The results suggested that 4G allele of PAI-1 gene might be a risk factor for type 2 diabetes complicated with cornary heart disease.
