Abstract： Type 2 diabetic rats induced by a little dose of STZ plus high fat diet were treated with rosiglitazone for 8 weeks.Islet cell morphology and insulin release function were improved obvi-ously after the treatment.This showed that rosiglitazone could protect beta cell function while relie-ving insulin resistance.
