The experimental observation of the pulmonary insulin absorption enhanced by pulmonary surfactants in diabetic rats

Abstract´╝Ü The study of the STZ-modeled diabetic rat showed that the lung surfactant plus insulin-insufflated model rats had 20%~46% decreased blood glucose levlels and 17%~52% increased insulin levels, as compared with only insulin-insufflated model rats (all P<0.05). And the extents of above changes were positively correlated with dosing of the insufflated lung surfactant.
