Abstract: Plasma VEGF level of T2DM was higher than that of normal control (NC, n=30) and progressively increases from normal albuminuria (NA, n=26) to microalbuminuria (MA,n=26) and to macroalbu-minuria (ODN, n=24) groups, The VEGF level was positively correlated with the levels of creatinine, HbA1c and UAER and, decreases after losartan treatment in groups of MA and ODN.
