Abstract: The study on GDM (n=28) and NGT (n=30) showed that GDM had significantly higher levels of leptin (13±5 vs 10±3 μg/L), fasting Ins (15±5 vs 11±4 mU/L), TG(2.0±0.8 vs 1.6±0.4 mmol/L) and IRI (3.7±1.2 vs 2.8±0.9) as compared with NGT. And leptin level and pre-pregnant BMI are the independent risk factors for insulin resistance of GDM.
