Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical significance of changes of serum IL-6 TNF-α and NPY levels in patients with HIE.Methods Serum IL-6 TNF-α and NPY levels(with RIA) were detected in 32 patients with HIE,as well as 35 controls. Results Serum IL-6 TNF-α and NPY levels were significantly higher in the patients HIE than those in controls(P<0.01).Serum IL-6 levels were positively correlated to serum TNF-α and NPY levels(r = 0.6045,0.5714,P<0.01).Conclusion Serum IL-6 TNF-α and NPY levels are closely related to the diseases process of HIE and determination of which are of great clinical importance.
