Abstract： Objective To observe and analyze the therapeutical results of the treatment of chronic in-flammation of tendon by ESWT. Methods Total 89 cases including tennis elbow, calcaneodynia and periarthri-tis of shoulde were treated by ESWT. Results For tennis elbow, the results showed excellent 74.3%, good 20. 0% and fair 5.7% ; for calcaneodynia, excellent 43.8%, good 40.6% and fair 15.6% ; for pefiarthritis of shoulde, excellent 31.8%, good 45.5% and fair 22.7%. Statitieal analysis showed the results had difference be-tween each two groups. Conclusion Treatment of chronic inflammation of tendon by ESWT is a less injury, sa-fer and easier method.
