Investigation and detection the drug-resistance of staphyloccus with inducible clindamycin resistance

Abstract: Objective To investigate the resistance of Staphyloccns with inducible clindamycin resistance,and the prevalence of inducible clindamycin resistance.Methods 750 strains Staphyloceus were collected from Jan 2005 to Dec 2007.Identification of the bacteria and antibiotics susceptibility were performed on VITEK2 all-automatic microbiology analysis system.Inducible clindamyein resistance was detected by double disk diffusion method.Results The rate of inducible clindamycin resistance in Staphyloccus was 12.3% (92/750).Of 321 Eerythromyein resistant S.aurens,235 demonstrated constitutive resistance to clindamycin,while 34 showed inducible resistance.Of 363 erythromycin resistant CNS isolates,224 demonstrated constitutive resistance to clindamycin,while 58 had inducible resistance,vancomycin、Teicoplanin,Fusidic AeidL,Quinu/Dalfopristin、Linezolid and Fosfomycin were the most active against Staphylococci in virvo.Conclusion The detection of inducible clindamycin resistance must be stressed in clinical microbiology laboratory to provide good support for reasonable antibiotic therapy.
