Abstract： Objective To observe the influence of GT-4A Pulse Acting Working station on clinical intrapar-tum pain,and its influence on the stages of labor,the way of delivery,the volume of postpartum hemorrhage and the complications of neonates. Methods 400 primiparous women were randomly divided into two groups. The test group had 200 women who received analgesia from GT-4A Pulse Acting Working Station; while the control group had the other 200 women who received no means of analgesia. The degree of pain,duration of labor, way of delivery ,the volume of two hours after delivery and the adverse effect on fetus were observed. Results The degree of pain was significantly reduced by GT-4A Intrapartum Analgesia Working Station(P <0.01). The active stage,the first stage of labor and the second stage of labor in test group were decreased compared with control group ( P < 0.05). The ratio of cesarean section were significantly higher than that in test group. The influence of postpartum hemorrhage and complications of neonates were not different between the two groups. Conclusion The GT-4A Pulse Acting Working Station could be used as a non-drug analgesic method during labor,itis easy operation,significant effect of analgesia,shorten the stages and ratio of cesarean section and no adverse influence to either mother or neonate.
