Abstract： The changes of sandy soil water-physical properties after mixed plantation of poplar and black locust are studied. The results showed that mixed forest improved sandy soil water-physical properties, that is, increased soil maximum moisture capacity, capillary capacity and field capacity. The mixed forest also increased soil total porosity, non-capillary porosity, capillary porosity and improved soil permeating property. Tab 4, Ref 7
