Comparative study on education model of PhD graduates between China and the United States

Abstract: In comparison with the relatively perfect education model of biomedical philosophy doctor(PhD) graduates in the Unites States,the PhD graduates education in China started late and is still at an exploratory stage at present,which urgently needs to be improved and developed.In this study,the education of PhD graduates on immunology of School of Medicine,Pittsburgh University,was set as the control to compare the education model of the PhD graduates in aspects of admission requirements,curriculum provision and scientific research between China and the United States so as to provide experiences and practices in reform of PhD graduates education in China.
