Abstract: Objective To investigate the problem-based learning (PBL) teaching method in clinical practice of burn surgery and role of the possibility of application.Methods 43 interns rotating the burn department were trained with the same bum PBL case,teachers and students scored at the end of the PBL.Results The majority of students satisfied with the case,but some aspects could be improved; brain storming of the students remained inadequate.Conclusions PBL teaching method in clinical practice of burn surgery is feasible and beneficial.
