Abstract： In this paper,in order to cultivate students＇ autonomous learning ability,reform of self-study course had been made on the introduction of basic medicine,and good effect had been got.In the teaching reform,the following efforts have been made:sublimating both teachers and students＇educational ideas to adopt student-centered teaching model,and creating a positive self-study environment for students by improving teachers＇ instructions and teaching students learning strategies,and reforming the course assessment system to examine and evaluate student' s performances in the whole process of the course study so as to improve learning efficiency.
