Abstract： Talking the success of the tutor system for undergraduates in the University of Oxford and the current circumstance of medical education in our country into consideration,the tutor system for undergraduates was carried out in the school of public health of SUN Yat-sen University to cultivate of comprehensive quality and creative ability for preventive medical students combining actual work.The paper summarized and analyzed the structure,implement and achievements of the tutor system for undergraduates.At the same time,positive suggestion was offered.
