Abstract： Eight-year medical program is a new model for medical education at present in China. It is necessary to carry out a system in which the tutorial supervision is implemented at certain stages. This paper briefly introduces the importance and necessity for implementing the system and discusses the tutors' responsibilities and tasks at the different stages.
