Abstract: Objective To explore the effective teaching management method for public elective courses, improve the teaching quality of public elective courses and to promote the growth of the student. Methods By carrying out the retrospective analysis for the experiences of starting public elective courses for the past ten more years and making useful exploration for the planned scheme to be executed. Results To increase the number of college public courses and to promote the quality of teaching and its effectiveness. Conclusions College authority should adopt effective methods and measures to carry out the reform regarding policy, system and conditions so as to make the teaching of college level elective courses move forward healthily.
