Abstract: There are 13 universities with eight-year medical program in China at present. The schools and the society have different views on the quality and the model of eight-year medical program. For the purpose of ensuring the quality of teaching, this paper firstly analyzes the teaching status quo of eight-year medical program at present, then points out how to define the objective, set up pre-medical phase rea-sonably, reform curriculum and teaching, and optimize the teaching administration for the program.
