Abstract: Objective To discuss the effect of PPT health education to release the anxiety of patients with PICC.Methods 60 patients with PICC were randomly divided into two groups,the experimental group (31 cases) and the control group (29 cascs).The control group received conventional PICC procedures and nursing,while the experimental group received PPT health education 60 minutes before PICC insertion.S-AI in ATAI was used to compare two groups' anxiety status before and after the education.Results Before PICC insertion,there was no statistically significant difference between two groups' S-AI scores.After PICC insertion,the S-AI score of the control group was (40.65 ± 5.24),while that of the experimental group was (29.41 ±3.38),and the difference was statistically significant (t =9.938,P < 0.01).Conclusions PPT health education can effectively release the anxiety of patients with PICC.
