Abstract: In this paper, a kind of nonlinear three-dimensional model of Pinus koraiensis forest ecological system including pine seeds, squirrels and seedlings is considered. Systematic analysis method is used to discuss the stability of the model. The saddle-node bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation are also discussed. Furthermore, computation formula and analysis for the periodic solution of the Hopf bifurcation is given in detail. The results show that the numbers of pine seeds, squirrels and seedlings in the pinus koraiensis forest ecological system will have a law fluctuation with time.
