Abstract: A mathematical model that describes Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection of uninfected target cells is analyzed. And we consider the classical mathematical model with the rate of cure. By stability analysis we obtain sufficient conditions on the parameters for the global stability of the infected and the infection-free steady state. We prove that,if the basic reproduction number R0 < 1,the HBV infection is cleared;if R0 > 1,the HBV infection persists.
