Abstract： Some algebraic criteria for absolute stability (the stability is indepen-dent of the delay) of an equilibrium of a special 3-dimensional differential delay systemare given. Also, the conditions under which the systems have a Hopf bifurcation areobtained. Two examples are discussed to show that the theorems are used easily.
