Abstract: In this paper, the Optimal Control Theory is applied to two-species bioeconomic systems. The optimal harvest policies are presented when one fleet makes natural mixed harvest and when one fleet is divided into two groups to harvest two independent species or two competitive species, respectively. The connections and differences between them are also considered.
