Fournier's gangrene:a real urologic emergency

Abstract： Objectives To summarize the diagnostic and therapeutic experience of Fournier's gangrene and improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.Methods The patient' s main syndromes,diagnosis and treatment were analyzed retrospectively.Then,the clinical manifestation,diagnosis,treatment,prognosis were discussed referring to the literature.Results The patient got a well therapeutic effect after comprehensive treatment comprising active anti-infection,debridement,etc.Conclusions Foumier's Gangrene is a real urologic emergency,need early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment including the use of wide spectrum and sensitive antibiotics,early and thorough debridement,drainage,the management of complication in time,which are the key points of improving the prognosis of this disease.
