Abstract: MicroRNA are endogenous small noncoding RNA that post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression by targeting specific messenger RNA.MicroRNA can play its regulatory role in numerous aspects of many physiological and pathological processes.Recent studies show that microRNA are closely related to airway inflammatory diseases such as asthma. It is possible that microRNA may bring a fundamental change to our understanding of the pathogenesis of asthma. This may then lead to the development of novel efficacious therapeutic strategies in asthma. So we report the latest findings relevant to this field of research.
