Abstract: Objective To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of different strategies for treating tuberculosis patients co-infected with Gram-negative bacillus,to provide the theoretical and economic evidences for the use of Yiqing Capsule.Methods 120 tuberculosis patients with endotoxin testing positive were randomly divided into therapy group and control group.Both groups were given antituberculosi treatment and antibacterial agents,patients in treatment group were given Yiqing capsule additionally.The days until temperature normalized,levels of CRP normalized and concentration of endotoxin normalized were collected and the cost-effectiveness were conducted,improvements on images were also compared between the groups.Results The days until temperature normalized,levels of CRP normalized and concentration of endotoxin normalized in therapy group were shorter than control group (P <0.05).No empty closed after treatment in both groups,but the effective rate in treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (78.3% vs.55.0%,x2 =4.97,P < 0.05).The therapy effects were poorer and the medical care expenses were bigher in control goup than therapy group (P=0.013).Conclusions Yiqing Capsule combined with antibacterial agents can synergisticly enhance the clinical therapeutic effect and significantly reduce the length of hospitalization,being of great value to economy.
