Multiple pipeline nursing for critically ill patients in cardiothoracic surgery department

Abstract： Objective To analyze the nursing effects of multiple pipelineon critically ill cardiothoracic patients department.Methods A total of 108 patients with multiple tubes of cardiothoracic surgery between the year of 2010 - 2012 were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The mean hospital stay,nursing quality,negative mood and satisfaction degree were compared. Results The mean hospital stay and the score of nursing quality and satisfaction degree in observation group were better than those of in control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).The score of negative mood were significantly lower than that in control group ( P ＜ 0.05). Conclusions The nursing for critically ill patients in cardiothoracic surgery department with multiple pipes can obviously shorten the hospitalization time,improve the quality of care and satisfaction with nursing care,reduce patients'depression.
