Abstract： Objective To investigate the hospital carrying out bedside work system to enhance the patients'satisfaction with nursingcare.Methods The special work contents of carrying out bedside work system from the 2010 March t0 2011 March and its results were ana-lyzed retrospectively.A total of 321 patients were selected before and after admission from 2010 t0 2011 and divided into two groups,160 cases were in the control group and 161 cases in observation group. Patients in the control group adopted the traditional nursing,in the observation group on the base of using new multifunctional nursing trolley case,the work system of " nurse responsibilities implemented into bedside" was applied to do the nursing work.The questionnaires were applied to compare patients'satisfaction,doctor and nurses satisfaction andsatisfaction degree of nursing quality between the two groups.Results The satisfaction degrees in the observation group were significantlybetter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05 ) .Conclusions The bedside work systemcan enhance nursing quality and the satisfaction indexes.
