Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of the American obstetric service model on postpartum depression.Methods A total of 100 pregnant women were divided into two groups with 50 cases in each.Observation group adopted the American obstetric service model,and control group adopted routine service model.The occurrence rate of postpartum depression was compared between two groups.Results There was significant difference between two groups ( P < 0.01 ).Conclusions The American obstetric service model plays the role of prevention of postpartum depression.It can increase the comfort of pregnant women,reduce the occurrence rate of postpartum depression,improve the quality of life.
