Abstract： Objective To investigate the application of predictive nursing on postpartum breast distending pain.Methods To select 2011 April ～ September in our clinic routine regular production 260 cases pregnant women as the observation group,at the same period in our hospital childbirth but not for regular check - ups 190 cases pregnant women as control group.The control group was given routine perinatal care,on the basis,observation group implement predictive nursing.The postpartum lactation patency,tenderness,induration and postpartum lactation amount were compared.Results The observation group was significantly higher than control group in the patency rate ( P ＜ 0.05 ),and breast tenderness,induration was significantly lower than those of control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ) ; the two groups lactation amount for the first day postpartum had no significant difference ( P ＞ 0.05),but the second day,third day and fourth day,the observation group lactation quantity obviously were higher than those of control group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions The predictive nursing intervention could effectively reduce postpartum breast distending pain,improve breastfeeding success rate,worthy of clinical application.
