Abstract： Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of intermediate frequency electric therapy combined with yishentang decoction on IgA nephropathy.Methods Forty patients with IgA nephropathy were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each of 20 cases. The treatment group received electrical stimulation with spleen and kidney spots combined yishentang decoction; the control group received traditional Chinese medicine yishentang decoction, the treatment lasted for 14 days.urinary red blood cell amount, 24-hour urinary protein and clinical symptom score were measured before and after treatment.Results The clinical symptom score, urinary red blood cell amount, 24-hour urinary protein were significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant, (P<0.05 or P<0.01), but the 24-hour urinary protein had no difference statistically significant(P＞0.05).Conclusions The intermediate frequency electric therapy combined yishentang decoction can reduce IgA nephropathy of kidney Qi and Yin Deficiency type's clinical symptoms of backache, fatigue, dry throat, sore throat, and play a therapeutic effect in clinical medicine.
