Abstract： Objective To explore new mode of oral medicine distribution. Methods Questionnaires were used to pharmalist nurses and patients. Results The mode of setting the medicine in centre pharmacy was one person and no one checking. Misplacing medicines had been happened by 100% participants in centre pharma-cy. The rate of misplacing medicines in pharmacy was 9%. Without the original package, 100% pharmacists cant recognize the medicine with similar appearance, color and shape. The error rate was 0. 67% after the main nurse checked the medicine, 80. 3%. nurses can only cheek the quantity of the medicine and cant recognize them ac-cording their appearance. In case of no patients mistaken, 62% error was caused by misplacing medicine of the pharmacy and the nurses didn't find out. The average time daily taken by the nurse to cheek the medicine was 100. 85 minutes. The satisfoutory degree of the patients to the nurse's drug nursing was 63. 4%. Only 13% patients indicated that detailed medicine knowledge had been told by the nurse and brief introduction had been taken in 31% patients. Conclusions Change the existing medicine distribution mode, to establish new oral medicine dis-tribution mode and the safety of taking medicine.
