Abstract： AIM:From the perspective of the management of hospital departments to implement 5S management on the efficient use of beds.METHODS:This study uses normalization analysis,extraction bed utilization rate of bed turnover rate as the evaluation index,and create model of "use of bed-effective curve equivalence",analysis and comparison of a center hospital beds and the use of data in 2007-2008.RESULTS:Efficiency values of hospital beds in 2008 compared with has been significantly increased in 2007 after full implementation of 5S management,the main contribution from the bed turnover rate of increase.CONCLUSION:Implementation of 5S management call bring a higher bed-efficiency for hospital.
