Abstract: AIM:To investigate the experience and clinical efficacy of endovaseular repair of Stanford B aortic dissection(AD).METHODS:Retrospectively analyzed 16 patients with Stanford B AD underwent stent-graft implantation from February 2007 to July 2009.All patients were followed up and the clinical data were analyzed.RESULTS:All patients were technically and clinically successful.Left subclavian artery was totally occluded in 4 patients,1 case was occluded by using patent ductus arterioSUS occluder device among the total 4 patients. The serial followup imaging demonstrated that the locations and shapes of the stent-graft were stable and no slight endoleakage occurred in all patients; One case died of cerebral hemorrhage.CONCLUSION:Endovascular repair of Stanford B AD is a micro-invasion,safe and efficient therapy, but the long term results remain to further observe.
