Abstract: AIM:To assess the left ventricle short axis strain changes of myocardium infarction in different directions base on speckle tracking imaging(STI).METHODS:Myocardium infarction left ventricle short axis base direction and tip of heart ventricle direction Radial strain(RS),circumferential strain(CS)were detected based on STI.Accroding to the decline level of myocardium infarction left ventriclee jection fraction,the changes of RS and CS were analyzed.RESULTS:Infarcted myocardium infarcted direction RS value are lower than normal value,CS valne were higher than normal values.CONCLUSION:STI enables accurate analysis of regional systolic function by frame-by-frame tracking high intensity dots in two-dimensional echocardiographic images.
