Expression and transcription of androgen receptor in prostate cancer cell lines with different characteristics of androgen independence

Abstract： 目的:探讨雄激素受体(AR)在前列腺癌激素依赖特性转变过程中的可能作用.方法:分别应用Western Blot和RT-PCR法检测四种前列腺癌细胞株(LNCaP,C4,C4-2及C4-2B)的AR蛋白表达差异和转录活性差异状况,并初步分析其在前列腺癌雄激素依赖特性转化过程中所发挥的作用.结果:AR在雄激素依赖的低转移性细胞株LNCaP中的蛋白表达量和转录活性最低,同时AR在雄激素非依赖的高转移性细胞株C4,C4-2及C4-2B细胞株中的蛋白表达、转录活性却逐渐增高.结论:AR在雄激素依赖特性和转移潜能不同的前列腺癌细胞株之间确实存在着有意义的差异表达,而这种表达差异可能在影响前列腺癌激素依赖特性转变过程中发挥重要作用.
