Abstract: AIM To study the apoptosis of vascular endothelial cell with injured cremaster nerve of the rat. METHODS The expression of Bcl-2, Bax and p53 in endothelial cells with injured cremaster nerve was investigated by means of immunohistochemical SP method. RESULTS The expression of Bcl-2, Bax and p53 in endothelial cell of injured cremaster merve increased obviously, and reached the hightest level I weak after operation (P<0.01 vs 24 h group) But the number of positive cell of Bax and p53 was larger than that of Bcl-2 (P<0.01 and P<0.05). CONCLUSION Cremaster Nerve injury could result in apoptosis of the endothelial cells and might play an important role in the dysfunction of microcirculation.
